Edamame

Assalamualaikum,

Salam rabu pada semua kawan2,sihat ka? :)

Saya nak tanya pernah ke makan Edamame a.k.a kacang soya rebus? Kebiasaannya ada jual dalam menu di kedai sushi king.

Bulan lepas saya pergi makan sushi king dan saya ternampak ada pasangan cina makan kacang soya steam ni. Saya jadi amaze dan wonder tak pahit ke makan kacang macam tu sahaja. Dengan berani saya ambil sepinggan dan try makan. Sedap sangat2!!!!.

Rasa kacang dia berlemak,ada sedikit rasa manis2 dan sedikit masin...mungkin masa dia rebus atau steam tu letak sedikit garam.

Agak-agak di malaysia ni boleh ke tanam pokok kacang soya ni? Kat mana agaknye nak dapatkan benih dia? Kalau boleh tanam di malaysia dan pokok kacang ni boleh adapt dengan cuaca tropic saya nak juga menanam pokok kacang soya ni. heeee.

Edamame

Edamame (枝豆?) (/ˌɛdəˈmɑːm/) or edamame bean is a preparation of immature soybeans in the pod, which commonly are found in the cuisines of Japan, China and Hawaii. The pods are boiled in water together with condiments, such as salt, and served whole. Occasionally they are steamed.
Outside East Asia, the dish is most often found in Japanese restaurants and some Chinese restaurants but it also has found popularity elsewhere as a healthy food item.

The United States Department of Agriculture states that edamame beans are "a soybean that can be eaten fresh and are best known as a snack with a nutritional punch".[5]
Edamame and all preparations of soybeans are rich in carbohydrates, protein, dietary fiber, andmicronutrients, particularly folates, manganese, and vitamin K (table).[6]
The balance of fatty acids in 100 grams of edamame is 361 mg of omega-3 fatty acids to 1794 mg ofomega-6 fatty acids.[7]
Edamame beans contain higher levels of abscisic acid, sucrose, and protein than other types of soybeans,[citation needed] and may contain carotenoids.[8]

    1. agak2 kalau kita pakai je biji kacang soya yang kat kedai2 jual untuk buat air soya tu agak2 boleh kut. hehe.....

    2. tadi abiskan masa lunch mencari2...tapi tak ada..boleh lah try yg kedai tu..rendam dulu kan..sampai kuar cambahan..mcm en iskandar buat untuk kacang buncis!

    1. try la tanya mardi rasanya derang boleh bagi khidmat nasihat dan mungkin derang boleh jual benih2 kacang soya yang sesuai tanam di mesia ni.
